GREAT for beginners and snorkling - Used to dive here all the time. It is very shallow so Do NOT dive /snorkle if there is any waves over 1/1/2 ft. There is a huge rock, smaller boulders and the breakwater that have alot of marine life, even occasional seals. If there are waves the inexpierenced diver/snorkler could very easily be smacked into the rocks. I've seen it happen. If it is calm it is a fantastic place to go. Once in awhile I had clear visibility of at least 25-30 ft. Ussually its about 15. Need a full wetsuit, it is cold Cape Cod bay water, don't believe it ever gets warmer than 60. Enjoy!!!
