Best pier dive on the Peninsula - Easily the best pier dive on the Peninsula, soft corals, sponges, mussels, oysters, all growing on the breakwater. A wide variety of fish, nudie's and anemones. Park in top car park, walk down pier and enter either at the landing or at the end. This is a boat marina so get under the pier do not swim / dive anywhere else, continue under the pier until you reach the breakwater, then go left if you stay along the edge of the breakwater you will be protected from boat traffic by the berthing walkway floating above. The underneath of the walkway is also worth a look but be very aware of boats reversing into the berths. The end of the breakwater has the greatest number of fish, including Tasseled Angler Fish. This pier can be affected by medium currents so plan your dive for slack water to make the most of it. Underwater Photographers Dream.
