 Additional Information

Superb wreck, I found it by chance while snorkeling in the area.
Crete diving clubs do not know it!!!
Very easy to find and accessible from the edge. The top of the engine is only 2m from the surface, and the sandy bottom at 12m, beautiful sunlight colors, it is also possible to enter but narrow passage, so for experienced divers. Watch out for Lionfish est, lots of nudibranchs, groupers, ...
Another part of the boat (the front one I think) is further offshore, on the other side of the rocks. it's a little deeper (16m) and a lot less interesting.
If you are going to visit it, please write to me to give me your opinion!

If I understood correctly while talking with an old man, the boat was carrying 20,000 tonnes of sugar, it may have failed 20 years ago by a “Beaufort 12” storm.

Enjoy!

Special dive in Crete ! - Really cool shallow dive, possible to enter the wreck but very narrow and with some lionfish inside. Quite a lot of life around. Best is probably at midday to enjoy full light and colors. Will always do this one before "The Arch" nearby that was already one of my favorites ! Watch out if you come trough Timpaki that GPS can lead you on a dirt road (funny only with 4wheel drive or rental car) Better to pass by Mires to stay on asphalt.
